I met Andrea last year when she hired me to do her Bridal portraits. It was cold that day, too… But she was stunning and I loved how laid back she was.
Fast Foward to now and here she is about to welcome a sweet baby boy to her family. I got to meet her husband, who is also the brother of another client of mine. The family resemblance is there, no doubt but I loved watching the differences in these guys! Mostly, I loved watching him love on her and that bump. This is one PROUD guy, let me tell you! So many times during this session he talked about how beautiful she was…. He would say, Look at her! or Look at those Green eyes… There is not much better in the world than the look on man’s face when he is in love. I don’t know if it’s because guys usually try and hide their emotions or what… but this was precious. When I get to witness couples engage in playful banter I feel most at ease… that’s how my husband and I love, and I know that it comes from a very in tune place. Meaning they are very in tune with one another and speak the same language and are relaxed.
I can’t wait to meet this little guy… And watch mom and dad both love on and interact with him. The only thing better than watching a man love on his woman is to see a man love on his new baby!
