Happy Friday! It’s been a while since I blogged last. I underestimated how busy things were going to get the last couple of months of 2017. That meant that blogging got put on hold. It’s never a great thing when that happens, but it does mean that the dreariness of winter can get brightened up by reflecting back on some pretty amazing days!
Today is Stacy and Jake’s! It was the absolute perfect fall day. I had never been to Shadow Creek. When I arrived I was blown away with it’s charm and beauty! A gorgeous barn situated with an amazing view. Cows grazed off in the background and the colors of fall decorated the trees. They said their vows overlooking the rolling hills and it was simply breathtaking.
Stacy chose a fitted gown, something I have seen so little of in my career and it was PERFECTION! She KILLED in it! Jake’s face when he turned around during their first look was priceless. They chose to read their handwritten vows to each other privately before the ceremony. My second shooter and I gave them space as they did so and we photographed from a distance. Even from a far we could see the emotion. It was such a touching moment to witness. The day was filled with moments such as that. It was truly such a joy to capture.
