It truly is a special day when this quaint little community opens its’ doors to a group of wedding guests because the Bride loves it so much. Growing up spending time here with her family, Jacqueline decided she wanted the shores of the Northern Neck to be the setting for the biggest day of her life. I always love listening to the conversation among guests about our little town.
Jacqueline was radiant. Her gown was stunning and no detail was spared. We spent the day between two of the Northern Neck’s most beautiful locations. The Tides and Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club. It was such a gorgeous day. Late October in this area can be a variety of things… but with summer sticking around longer it was mild and comfortable.
The couple shared an impromptu gold ride after the ceremony and the groom retrieved the Bourbon he buried to ensure good luck! (It worked 😉 )
The wind picked up later in the day but their covered reception and the new patio area at Indian Creek let everyone relax and enjoy the evening.
I had the best time working with these two! Matthew gave me a run for my money a few times, but they both have the kindest hearts and it was such a joy getting to know them!
XOXO
