Every wedding has a timeline. Every detail listed out with a time next to it to keep everyone together and on the same page to make sure the day goes forward without a hitch. What I can tell you is, after a 100+ weddings, along with each time stamp there is something else… an emotional timeline. each time I blog, I talk about love and joy of the day and those are definitely the big two, but through each step, each portion there are others. Excitement and anticipation fill the top half. Anxious jitters… those butterflies that we all love so much. Sometimes some nerves knowing you’ll be the center of attention and speaking in front of everyone. Relief, that those stressful moments are over. Complete contentment and peace that everything is exactly as it should be. And at the end, disappointment that this gorgeous beautiful day has gone by so fast and is now over. In between all those moments are all of these people completely showering you with well wishes, hopes, and (yep) love.
Having friends and family around that keep you elevated and on cloud 9 is key! I think if Megan and Scott could, every guest at their wedding would have been in their bridal party! These people could hang, let me tell you! The dance floor stayed packed ALL NIGHT. Megan and Scott never left the dance floor and it was the absolute BEST celebration ever!
I enjoyed every step, every moment, every emotion of this day. I know it went by too fast for them – but that is always a sign of the PERFECT day!
