Memories with the awesome lady go WAY back. Most of them revolve around softball where this woman is FIERCE and always has been. She was the girl who when came up to bat you would yell to your team “back up”! She could kill the ball. She was an equally impressive catcher. Someone you could always count on being in the right place at the right time! My softball career ended after little league… but she kept on through high school, college, and now she is back coaching those girls in High school…
She is one of the sweetest, kindest people you could hope to meet. I was SO THRILLED for her when I found out she was engaged! When you grow up in a small town and decide to come home and plug into the community, a lot of the time you end up marrying someone you grew up with – and there is NOTHING wrong with that! It’s special! But when you are able to meet someone who isn’t from your home and decide to build a life together, to me, that is equalliy as special! I had never met Nate, not until their engagment session! It was such a treat to meet the guy that stole such an amazing person’s heart! And let me tell you, he LOVES him some Kara! It’s not always easy getting guys to show affection, especially in front of a camera, but this guy…. I had to get him to STOP! “Nate!! Look up at me!!” “Nate, stop kissing her and look at me!!” It was awesome… I’m grinning just remembering it!
I’m in love with this session and in love with this couple! Kare and Nate, I can’t wait until June! This one is going to be for the record books! I can feel it!! XOXOX
