I’ve been photographing weddings for almost 5 years now and I don’t think I have ever seen such a visibly happy bride! Ann’s smile was from ear to ear, literally, the whole afternoon and evening. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet or get to know Ann or Rob before the wedding but their kindness and joyfulness was present from the moment I walked in the door. I may have only been there for five minutes but I witnessed the hair stylist and Ann say their goodbyes and saw the impact those few hours with Ann made on her. The stylist told Ann “I feel like I’ve known your for years”… and thanked her for her inspiration and hope…. Wow… How amazing to be a person who can impact a life in such a short amount of time!
Family is what meant most to Ann and Rob on their day! They were blending their two families and making sure their kids were involved in every aspect and having them know that they were loved and respected in their union was all that mattered to them. It was more than their marriage that day.
The truth is, I don’t have to say any of what I just said. It’s all obvious… visible in these images! I didn’t have to do much of anything but snap that shutter! Bringing them together for the bride and groom pictures was the easiest flowing, most fulfilling part of my day. These two are in love. They mean it. Rob’s tender embrace and Ann’s fierce love and connection to Rob did all the work.
