I met Abbey and John through the best possible way – through a word of mouth referral. They were both quiet and sort of shy but the sweetest people. They told me about their plans for a January New Years wedding and I was in love. The idea of a winter wedding was wonderful! Abbey was hoping for snow – but the reality of the day giving us rain didn’t dampen her spirits (no pun intended…lol).
The bride’s love of polka dots were present through out the bridal party… Her dress and shoes, the groomsmen’s socks and ties. It was so great.
The ceremony was at the most beautiful historic Episcopalian Church followed by the reception at the amazing Main St. Station in Richmond. It was still decorated for Christmas and was gorgeous. The rain calmed down enough for us to get some pretty great shots on the steps. Sure I had soaking wet slacks, but it was worth it 🙂
Abbey and John I am so glad that you guys planned a wedding that started my 2015 Wedding Season off in a fantastic way! I know it was everything you dreamed! XOXO
