I was so so happy to finally see these two have their big day! Last fall when we did their engagement session they were both so excited. March rolled around and everything fell a part and they had to push it to August. I know it was devastating for them, but they were also happy to do what they had to do to protect their loved ones.
There were a lot of mementos spread out over the venue that Mackenzie included. She and her brother have lost their parents but she made sure to include them as much as possible. There were so many precious moments where I saw that look in her eye. She has an amazing support system and “second family”. These people were so amazing during her day. Seriously, worth their weight in gold!
It rained all day. ALL. DAY. we had moments where it lightened up enough to go out for a few minutes, but it literally never stopped. It was coming down sideways during the ceremony. All you can do is laugh and smile and roll with it! All the more memories made! Chris and Mackenzie were super fun and flexible with it all! Going out with an umbrella and being barefoot – that’s how you handle it! No point in being upset!
I am so so happy that I was able to be your day, Chris and Mackenzie! You both are such amazing people and deserve a lifetime of happiness! <3 <3
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
