October 7, 2017 was a gorgeous day. Seriously, a GORGEOUS day. I made the trip to one of my favorite venues, Rosemont Manor in Berryville, VA. It is such an amazing location on the Virginia/West Virginia line. Stone walls, rolling hills, and rich history. There was a little more history added to this spot on that day. It was the place where two of the kindest souls promised forever to each other. I met Zachary and Emily last fall in downtown DC where we wandered through the monuments getting to know each other and taking some pretty awesome pictures. To date, they are still some of my most favorite images. Their chemistry, genuine kindness, and overall beautiful personalities shined brightly in their pictures and I felt like I had known them forever.
I knew their wedding day was going to be a good one. Emily wore a gown that was originally her grandmother’s. Her mother then wore it, and now she did. It was a beautiful dedication to the love of family. This whole day was simply a testament to all things love, happiness, fulfillment, and completion. It was such an honor to witness!
