Raise your hand if you’re ready for some sunshine and warmth! Even though it was a mild winter, I am definitely ready to feel that warm sun on my skin and see the green back in the trees!
This sweet engagement session with Emily and Zachary happened last fall. I remember it vividly! I made the drive to Monument Park in DC and we spent time at the Lincoln Memorial and the Civil War Memorial. It was a gorgeous warm fall day… It was the perfect backdrop for this couple who spend their lives in the hustle and bustle of DC. We then drove to Alexandria. The old town feel with the greenery was the perfect contrast to the marble of the monuments.
You’d never know by looking at these two that they were a little nervous. If you know me, you know I am a laid back girl from a small town. I love my jeans and flip flops year round! I was intimidated by these two! Look at them! I felt like I was on the town with VIP’s!
I had a blast getting to know these two! I can’t wait for their wedding this fall at my ALL TIME favorite venue, Rosemont Manor in Berryville! It’s a trek out there but oh my goodness it is SOOO worth it! I get to shoot there twice this year! I just know this is going to be an amazing classy wedding and I can’t wait to see all the details Emily and Zachary have planned!
