On the way to this wedding I was telling Virginia (my second shooter) that this wedding would be a DIY feast for the eyes! Michelle planned every aspect of this wedding and created everything that was seen! She did an amazing job! This was the most gorgeous country wedding I have seen! She made the cake, the decor, even Warren made the arch they got married under the day before the wedding out of driftwood he scavenged throught the park! It was awesome!
These two have an amazing love story. I cried hearing it and I cry telling it – so I’m not going to – besides, it is theirs to share, not mine. Just know it is stuff books are written about 😉
I’ve known Warren since he was a little boy. His older sister, Rachael and I were childhood BFF’s. We would ride bikes up and down the street, have sleepover’s where we would climb out on my roof and pretend we were hardcore… LOL…. Warren was the typical annoying little brother haha. I am SO PROUD of the man he has become. He serves our Country with dedication and honor. He has integrity and character. He has risked his life on deplyment and has survived some pretty intense stuff. This day – this happiness – if anyone deserves it, it is him.
I find that the brides are the ones who do most of the research for the wedding vendors. So I was SO excited when Michelle contacted me for thier wedding. I thought for sure someone as beautiful as her would have photog friends lined up to do her wedding! I will admit, she was not what I expected when I met her. I am not sure why, but in my mind she was this quiet soft spoken sweet girl… The only thing I was right about was the sweet part! HAHA… She is playful, outspoken, and passionate. She knows what she wants and will let you know what it is. I LOVE it.
In a world where valor and values are slipping away, these two are a breathe of fresh air. The repesent both of those things and live them daily. Thank you for your service to this Country Warren. Thank you, Michelle, for the sacrifices you have made for him and will make as a military wife. Love you guys! XOXO
