I’ve known Carolyn since she was a little girl. Her family were members at the sister church of mine. When our groups would come together for Vacation Bible School or Christmas programs I would see her… Long, dishovled blonde hair, and always a playful smile on her face. When I met up with her again it was this past winter, many years since the last time I saw her and my goodness, what an amazing young woman she had grown into. She still had that long blonde hair, but it was perfectly styled and that smile… it was bigger and brighter than ever. I think there were a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, she had found the man of her dreams and would be marrying him in just a few short months. Secondly, because she was back at her home. A place that very cleary had so many dear memories. I spoke in detail about that when I blogged their engagement session.
I knew when Carolyn and Tyler booked me for their wedding that is was going to be an amazing day. It was beyond my expectations as a photographer. As is the right of most brides to take this time to focus on the love story they have created, Carolyn and Tyler went above that to REALLY make their family experience their day. Every time I saw Carolyn she was loving on her family. Taking the time to welcome them and talk to them and really let them know how happy and proud she was that they were there. Tyler was the same. I loved meeting his family and see how they welcomed Carolyn into their family.
Carolyn and Tyler, thank you so much for including me on such a beautiful day! It couldn’t have been more amazing and I can’t wait to see you start your lives together! XOXO
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
