Sometimes great couples just fall into your lap. Robbie and Alex were a referral from a wonderful friend of mine in Richmond. When I met with Alex she was on cloud nine – so incredibly excited to be planning a wedding to the man of her dreams! We met earlier this year to do their engagement photos and we had a blast. We laughed and joked with each other and I had the best time teasing Robbie about his fear of spiders! I take what I do very seriously, but my personality is light and having fun with my couples is a must.
Alex and Robbie’s families are full of southern charm. The two families are from South Carolina and Georgia so it was full of southern accents and warm friendly natures. Everyone that day was nothing but smiles. They have watched these two fall in love and join their lives together so this day for them was a beautiful new beginning to their story.
Alex not only had a first look with Robbie, but also with her daddy. I am a daddy’s girl myself so I was a teary eyed mess during this one! They were beyond precious. I could tell Robbie was battling some nerves when we were walking to their first look but the minute he turned around saw Alex and how amazingly gorgeous she was, he melted into her arms and he was at ease.
I said this when I blogged their engagement session but I will say it again… I am a fan of young love. These guys are not that old… but it doesn’t matter. They know – and everyone there knew. They have that much longer to love each other and I have no doubts of their beautiful future together!
Thank you guys, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me with such a huge day in your lives. XOXO
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
