Bridal portraits are not done NEARLY enough, in my opinion! Apparently it is a southern thing but I think if brides knew more about them they would definitely jump on th bandwagon! Your wedding day is chaotic and though time is taken to get portraits a bridal session can be a stress free time focused solely on YOU! 1-2 extra hours in your gown feeling like the most gorgeous woman on earth. Mother’s of the bride LOVE to display a few of the images all around the reception area – showing off their baby girl in all her glory!
Rachel’s session was no exception! She rocked her session and I was able to capture some of the most stunning bridals ever! We had some AMAZING light streaming through the barn and I was in tears after capturing it. For real… tears…. running down my face and me feeling like a dork. But these woman – Rachel in this case – are just so beautiful and I just get overcome with gratitude and pride. I think about being around some of the grandmother’s who are quick to grab their bridal portraits from 50+ years ago and still radiate that pride… knowing one day this woman in front of me will be grabing the picture I just took and will be glowing with that same pride.
Boy that’s a lot of “prides”… haha…
Rachel has been married for two weeks now… I hope that she continues to look back at these images and feel as beautiful as she was when we took them 🙂 XOXO Love ya Rachel!
