‘Tis the Season! Along with the business of Fall Weddings, Families come out in droves for sessions for Holiday Cards or simply to take advantage of this GORGEOUS season. The past few years, I have offered mini sessions not only in the NNK but in Richmond. I have amazing clients that stretch across the Commonwealth and love the opportunity to serve them outside of the NNK.
Yes, mini sessions are quick, but with children, it is the BEST option! Attention spans tend to run short and anxiety high so 20-30 minutes is the perfect amount of time to work with them before they burn out!
I LOVE everything about this session. The light was gorgeous and the Payne family looked AMAZING. I loved their monochromatic outfits against the golden light of the sun and changing leaves.
I would encourage mothers out there that if you’ve been toying with the idea of a family session but are worried about your kids – think about a mini session. It’s kind of a warm up to a regular session and it would be a good indicator of how your kids will react to having a camera in front of them!
