This was my first wedding at Cumberland.  What a beautiful place!  I had no idea it was so close to a few of the places I shoot a lot at.  Amazing views and beautiful gardens.  It was the perfect backdrop fro Meredyth and Nate.  Every aspect of this lavender filled day was gorgeous.  Pops of purple blended beautifully with all the greens from the newly budded trees…

Tender moments also weaved their way into day.  Meredyth’s bridesmaids snuck away for Nate to write a sweet message on the sole of her shoe.  Meredyth uttered a prayer after they mixed colored glass during their ceremony.  Meredyth cradled her best friend’s baby bump right after the ceremony ended.  Meredyth and Nate’s mothers sat arm in arm during the reception, both shedding tears while they watched their children share their first dance.

The whole day was just amazing.  One of the bridesmaids and I discussed it waiting for the sparkler exit.  There were no hiccups, no settling for plan B’s, just smooth sailing.  It really was the best day ever.

Meredyth and Nate, I truly wish you two the best life possible.  It was truly an honor to be the one there with you that day, experiencing it all.
