Sometimes, the BEST sessions are ones where you just take the time to wonder around a bit. That is what we did on the William and Mary Campus. Megan is an alumni and knew her way around and only had a few specific requests of places to go so we just roamed a bit. I LOVE Williamsburg and it’s rich history. It think it’s amazing that even 200+ years later they are still finding treasures in this area. Next to Wren Chapel they discovered an underground tavern that will soon begin excavation. You can literally FEEL the history.
These two have such a fun relationship! We laughed and laughed and bonded over my Autobot car decal… if you don’t know what that means i’m not sure we can be friends… LOL just kidding… I just need to educate you a bit 😉
One of the coolest places we visited was the Crim Dell Bridge. It is rumored that if two lovers cross the bridge together and kiss at the crest of it, they will be together forever. If that couple separates at any point thereafter, however, the lady must throw her ex-lover off of the bridge and into the water to break the curse of being forever single. Another similar urban legend is that if someone crosses Crim Dell alone, they will always be alone. Needless to say they crossed and shared a kiss and have no plans of crossing it another way 😉
I can’t wait to see you guys again! Your wedding is going to be amazing fun and celebrating with you is bound to be a highlight of my year!
