We deliberated back and forth all day on this day about whether or not we were going to meet up. Their was a HUGE storm going through the NNK that afternoon and usually IF it clears up then it is hazy and foggy. I knew what that would make the pictures look like and I knew how anxious Mary was to have these photo’s taken… and that she wanted them to be great. We ultimately decided to go for it… and I have NEVER been so happy to listen to a client in all my life… I mean seriously, look at this young lady… look at this sky… look at that light! Mary came armed with some great ideas and knew she wanted some sun flare in a few of her images. The bugs were AWEFUL. I had never experienced them that bad. Usually they don’t like me… so you know it is bad when they are attacking me. You could never tell by looking at her.
I was so excited to hear that Mary wants to go to school for photography! Although I think she may have a pretty good shot on the other side of the camera, too 😉 Everything came together perfectly for this session. A rare thing. It is one of my favorites to date.
