I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for over a year! Emily was the first bride I booked for 2016 all the way back in 2014! She was on the ball! When I met with her and her mother she was just genuinely excited. Smiling from ear to ear! It was contagious and I couldn’t help but feel the same way after walking away from our consultation.
When I met Kevin during their engagment session, I could tell that these two were going to be so much fun to work with! They were just happy! Two happy people in love. I remember them giggling the whole time… it was so sweet.
There is something so different and precious about younger couples when they get married. Life hasn’t had a chance to throw too many curve balls yet… there is an optimism because they know that even when the curve balls come, they have someone in their corner… they have someone to hold them and wipe the tears and on the flip side they have someone to celebrate with, to come home to and talk to… They have a partner from the beginning and it makes them bolder, braver, and more confident to face the future! Older couples have those characteristics, too, don’t get me wrong but there is just a vivaciousness to these younger ones that make you walk away uplifted, a little more light hearted, and a little more excited to get home to the one you love and just be with them.
Thank you Emily and Kevin for having me a part of your journey! It has truly been my pleasure to work with you this past year and half and I have no doubts your future together will be bright and full of love!
