Being a mom to a little girl scared the daylights out of me. After the boys I really didn’t know what to expect. Several of my friends growing up had little girls, so I was able to look to their lives for a little preview to what I was in for. Kelley was one of those moms. She had this beautiful little girl and was rocking motherhood.
Kaitlyn was so much fun for this session. She was full of smiles and giggles and that girly girl attitude that totally comes through images.
What I think I loved witnessing the most from this session was the relationship these two have. While I know Kelley, and I know she is a parent – she was also Kaitlyn’s friend. Their tight knit relationship is built on more that just blood – it’s a genuine respect and devotion. I know the day is coming, probably too soon for Kelley, when the role of friend will take a back seat to parent while she guides the course Kaitlyn’s life will take – but the foundation to a loving, lasting, bond is being laid now and I am so glad Kelley now has these memories of this time in their lives!
