October went by in a flurry of florals, tulle, and I Do’s. I felt like I blinked and it was over. I photographed six weddings last month. I’m not sure what I was thinking, but it really is a priceless thing to get to witness so much beauty and joy for a living. Friday October 6th was the first of those six and it was with Kaitlyn and Tom. They got married right down the street from where we first met to do their engagement session. A quiet, friendly couple that I was so excited to work with. Their wedding was intimate and in the back of the Atheneum in Alexandria. Behind the building there was a beautiful little nook with old exposed brick and climbing ivy. Kaitlyn’s lace dress with floral crown were the perfect accent to this gorgeous space. I felt like I was taken back in time a bit. It was so breathtakingly lovely. She also wore mauvey/pink suede shoes. It would be the first of two such shoes I would see this fall wedding season and I hope it’s a trend that continues! I loved them!
Thank you so much Kaitlyn and Tom! Your trust in me and gift you gave me of being present to capture your day was truly special! I wish you both a lifetime of joy!
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
