Jess and Shayne were dream clients! Spunky and fun and laid back! I had so been looking forward to their wedding. I was not dissapointed. I had so many laughs during this day and I know a smile never left my face. Their bridal party was one of those groups where you just wanted to jump in and be a part of the crowd. Two groups of people came together and met on their day and you never would have known that everyone gathered weren’t life long friends.
Jess and Shayne opted for a first look and it was one of the sweetest moments I have witnessed as a photographer. Both shed tears but mostly it was just that moment on their day where it was just the two of them – together – realizing that they were about to come together for the rest of their lives.
As is the case for most of the weddings I do, I had the opportunity to talk with people that I grew up with and my parents grew up with. I learned of more antics my father participated in as a high-schooler and was able to share a good laugh with him when I asked him about it the next day. I love it.
