Almost two months after my last October Wedding I had the honor of photographing this gorgeous winter wedding.  When Bree first contacted me I got chills when she described the vision of her day.  Timeless, elegant, regal.  She told me that her and her fiance, Jason, were both opera singers and I was instantly hooked.

When I met Bree for her bridals I fell in love with her.  It was easy to see how her fiance could love such an amazingly kind, beuatiful, sweet spirited person.  I was equally blown away when I met Jason.  Bree is a photographer herself and one of her bridesmaids who also owns a photography business in Fredericksburg did their engagment pictures (which were gorgeous).  So when I met Jason, I was floored by this wonderfuly kind, gentle man.  He thanked me for being there and within minutes was in tears because he was about to his bride.  He said “this is the best day of my life”… and as I am sure you can guess, I was choking back tears myself.

Their intimate ceremony was perfect.  With a Christmas tree in the back of the room and lights glimmering through out the hall the guests stood to sing “Great is Thy Faithfulness”.  It was incredibly moving and probably only the second time out of the 80+ weddings I’ve photographed where the guests were invited to sing hyms.

I know I have said how kind Bree and Jason both are.  I can’t stress it enough.  I am a vendor.  Someone hired to preform a task but I have been so blessed to have clients that see me as more than that.  Jason and Bree made me feel that.  Their family and guests made me feel that.  I will never forget it.

Jason and Bree, you two were the perfect ending to my 2016 Wedding Season.  I can’t think of a better way it could have ended!  Thank you for allowing me to witness and capture your day!  I know God’s hands will continue to guide and mold your lives and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for you!!

XOXO
