It was three days before her wedding, the sun was going down quickly. We were running around crazy trying to take advantage of every second of light left in the day. The sky was amazing that evening. It gave us beautiful blues and purples – a pastel palette – combined with a white fence and her gorgeous gown, it was perfect. I had never been to Paynefield Farm. I didn’t even know it existed. I was blown away by this place! Such a gorgeous home with a revamped barn for events (stay tuned tomorrow for more images of it). As the sun was just about gone and I looked out over the corn field the sky erupted with bright orange and purples. I asked Jamie if she would mind me trying something new (to me) with her. The moments it took for the sun to disappear and the colors to fade away are the only moments I had to get this shot right! It’s not perfect… there are issues and things I could have done better but it was a heck of a first try! I hope she loves it as much as I do!
Be sure to check in tomorrow for Jamie’s Country inspired Wedding Day feature on the blog tomorrow! It’s gonna be a good one!! XOXO
