I’ve been struggling trying to figure out how to start this post.  I mean really, where do I begin?

My journey with Loren started several years ago.  She was single, raising her sweet little boy and wanted a session with just the two of them.  It wasn’t much later that she met James.  They had been dating for a while when he was deployed and I again got to work with her when she asked for a session before his deployment so they all could have pictures to help comfort them during their seperation.  When I met James, I saw a light in Loren’s eyes.  This season was going to be hard for them, but it was also going to test the strength of relationship.  That’s a lot of pressure… but I didn’t see an ounce of that worry in her eyes.  Just the fear that comes in general with deployment and the dread of knowing of much she would miss him.  I watched a man love a child like it was his own.  I watched a little boy look at a man, semi-new to his life, with admiration and love.  It was super emotional.  I am so happy James made it home safely and they picked up right where they left off!   Of course that meant an ENGAGMENT!!!  When Loren told me the news I was over the moon.  It was right in every way and there is no one more deserving of happiness!

From the engagments to the bridals to the wedding day – it was time spent not only with a client but a dear, dear friend.  Everyone that meets Loren falls in love with her and James won the worlds biggest lottery by marrying her!  I am sure James’s family feels the same way about Loren… I don’t know him as well as I do her, but I know any man she chooses to love must be one full of integretiy, support, loyalty, and love.

Thank you Loren for letting me witness this season in your life!  I am so glad to have you in my own life and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the two of you!
