So many couples this year have had their plans come to hault. If not a hault, a massive overhaul. Not these two! From the beginning their plan was a small intimate wedding in Heather’s father’s backyard with just their closest friends and family. Their was a tiny hiccup with the dinner location, but other than that, they were able to move ahead with their plans with no distruption.
I’ve known Heather since I photographed her brother’s wedding about 4 years ago. I’ve known Jesse since high school. He’s always made me laugh with his dry sense of humor and every time I’ve seen him over the years he’s kept me laughing.
Heather walked down the isle barefoot and Jesse stood waiting in his flip flops. Some clouds offered relief from the hot son as we wathced them exchanged vows overlooking the creek. It was absolutely beautiful. Florals from the wild bunch added pops of pinks and oranges. Heather’s dress was perfect. Elegant and simple but stunning on her. I couldn’t believe I was able to get waterfront pictures so early in the day. Usually that is a tough one but the stars aligned and it was perfect.
After the ceremony friends hung around from drinks and pictures and then we all headed to the Crazy Crab for seafood filled dinner – a staple in Reedville life.
I love how laid back everything and everyone was. In a year filled with so much stress this day was a breath of fresh air a nod to normalcy that I have missed so much. Heather and Jesse I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your day. I couldnt’ have imagined it any differently. I can’t wait to watch you two do life together!
XOXO

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
