If you asked Harley or myself what we remember most about our session, I bet we both would answer… IT WAS HOT. I don’t think I have ever experienced heat like we did on that day. It was likely the hottest day of the year. The only heat you’ll see in these images, however, is the heat Harley brought! Oh my goodness, look at her!
She wanted a field of flowers in her session. Not being too familiar with the Matthews area, I was lost. We decided to start at the beach at grandmother’s house. We totally lucked out and found a sunflower field literally right up the road! Double bonus, her mother knew the owners and we got permission to shoot there 😉 Her red dress in those glowing sunflowers… perfection!
We had to take a few breaks to cool down, but the whole thing came together beautifully. Harley’s smile and personality were gorgeous and even though it may appear she turned it on for this session, I have a feeling she is this awesome and happy all the time. It’s the time of her life right now! I am so excited that I got to share this time with her and capture these precious moments in her life!
