This year has been a killer for rainy wedding days! I guess that means we have a lot of LUCKY couples 😉 This day started wet and around mid day the sun came out only to tease us. By the time 4 rolled around we were facing tornado warnings and heavy rain fall. Sarah and Eppa decided to move their ceremony time up an hour to ensure they could have the ceremony they wanted, on the bow of one of her dad’s boats. It was windy, a bit rocky, but full of so much laughter and joy.
Eppa and Sarah have the most amazing love together. I loved to just sit back and watch them together. It is playful, it is sweet, it is real. For them, this day was about their love, family and friends. They didn’t mind (too much) that the weather was being a beast… they were just so happy to have this day together celebrating their life beginning together.
Let me tell you, this was a PARTY! I laughed and laughed. Their nautical themed wedding was full of surprises. Cake pops instead of a traditional cake, captains hats as party favors for guests to rock out with, and most amazing live band that had the guests full of life all night long!
It was a great day. Seriously, a great day. I couldnt’ have asked for a better couple to share it with. I was and remain so grateful to have been a part of it!
XOXO
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
