Another gorgeous early Summer’s day on the Rappahanock! Courtney and Eric live and work in Mechanicsville, but decided last year that they would have their wedding here at the Tides. They both serve as Public Servants; Eric is a firefighter and Courtney, a nurse. I am so thankful for people like them!! I love laid back couples and these two were just that! Courtney was gorgeous and Eric had the best shoes i have ever seen a groom wear! I loved the support these two had… i think Eric’s whole station showed up! A freak tropical storm blew up the coast the two days before the wedding so i think everyone was nervouse as to how the beach wedding was going to go! Luckily it cleared out the morning of the wedding and though things were a little soggy, we had bright blue skies with puffy clouds and an absolutley gorgeous sunset! I was so happy for them!
