When I walked in the door I was greeted with a squeal as Meghan jumped from her seat and ran to hug me… I don’t think I have ever had a bride SO excited for her wedding day… I mean bursting, grinning ear to ear, happy, bride. It was awesome. It was a long 3 1/2 hour drive out to Berryville but man was it a gorgeous drive! Old stone walls carved the landscapes while the mountains started to roll into view. I left the NNK with grey skies with the promise of rain all day so I couldn’t have been more thankful to head out of town to lower humidity and the sun shining.
Rosemont Manor is stunning. A 200 year old Mansion that just recently opened to the public as a bed and breakfast and special event venue. It is wildly popular and it is not hard to see why. Its’ beauty comes in second only to Meghan. I don’t even think I have words. You can look at her and see instantly she is gorgeous… but more than that was her personality. She was radiant. The choices she made were perfection. She let herself experience every emotion she had…she chose to LOVE every minute of this day.
Bruce was awesome, too. lol… don’t think I say that as an after thought. He was wrapped up in this woman but also chose to enjoy the day. He was laid back and attentive. He made sure my second shooter and I were hydrated and taken care of. His brother, the best man, was hysterical. He had the reception in tears with the best speech I think i’ve heard. They requested the infamous t-rex picture and they owned it!
All in all it was an absolutely amazing day. I know Meghan and Bruce will always cherish this celebration and I love that they can look back with nothing but happy memories.
Thank you both so much for choosing me to be there with you! It was truly my honor and I wish you both a lifetime of joy!
XOXO
