I was BEYOND exicted when Ashly told me her and Josh were expecting. Ashly and Josh’s Wedding was one of the first that I booked when I moved back to the area almost 4 years ago. They’ve been present at several weddings I have done since, including her brother’s last year. It’s always so much fun to be around them and I seriously just adore them both. I love their playful relationship and really…. just look at them… dream team/couple.
I feel so luckly to have a career that allows me to have a front row seat to so many special moment’s in the lives of families. To keep coming back again and again to be with them brings such a sense of value to what I do.
When Ashly was planning her wedding she wanted to do a bridal session with her horse. He is a stunning creature. When plans for that session fell through she decided she wanted to bring him for her materniyt session. I have never met an animal with so much personality and it was so funny because he was NOT into her dress! He couldn’t figure it out and it weirded him out big time! We laughed because had we tried this with her wedding gown… it could have been catastrophic! Everything works out for a reason! I am so glad that we brought him in for this session. Even though he was unsure of things at first… he knew he was being photographed and strcuk several poses and made somre really breathtaking images for Ashly to treasure!
I can’t WAIT to mee this sweet little baby in a very short time! Watching the transition from bride to mother is truly a beautiful exprience. In the same breath… Men that go from groom to father is seriously one of my most favorite things. There is a rare vulnurability that gets to be seen from them. I always cry. Always.
I’ll see you all soon! And you better believe I plan on getting my baby snuggles in entirely!
XOXO
