The Photography industry is hard. It’s art and therefore completely subjective and personal. As artisits, we pour ourselves completely into our work and it hurts, badly, when people don’t support our vision. It can also be an isolating field. Competition is fierce and you are always looking over your shoulder for someone better that may come along and take your business away. Having friends inside of this inustry is a rare thing. Having support is a rare thing. People portect their education and expeirence and leave new comers to find their own way, just as they did. I am BEYOND lucky to have met Anne-Sophie. After being a part of something amazing with a group of people in the Richmond area, i decided that i didn’t have to be insecure. I didn’t have to worry and think of everyone with a camera as my competition. I saw Anne-Sophie’s work pop on on face book and i decided to do something out of character for me… Reach out. I sent her a message, told her i LOVED her work, which i most certainly do) and asked if she would like to meet! I have never met a more genuinley sweet, nice person. I fell in love with her. In our short time as freinds she has been a sounding board and one the biggest encouragers i have met. I feel like i missed out on a great relationship with another photographer becuase of my insecurities so this was my chance to prove to myself that i could rise above my own issues and realize that a) This whole business venture is in God’s hands. I gave it to Him from the beginning. He is NOT going to let me starve and He has NEVER failed me… not once. And b) having a friend in this industry can be SO freeing. I am so thankful to her for being NOTHING like me. For being willing to meet me and talk to me and let me learn so much from her about confidence and strength. Thank you, Anne-Sophie… you’re awesome

So ANYWAY…. here are some headshots we did the other day. We were going to work on something other things but the sun decdied to take us another direction and we were cool with it.
