For the first time EVER, I think, the weather was forecasted over a week out accurately. I thought for sure when I saw rain 10 days out it would move or dissapear. It always does. Every day I checked, and ever date 3/14 was forecasted with rain. Of course it was the one day out of 5 or 6 straight days of spring gorgeousness. Sure enough the morning of the wedding i peeked out of the window and it was a nasty rainy day. It’s my job to make the best of situations like this. To reassure the bride and groom that no matter what Mother Nature throws at us we can get GORGEOUS wedding pictures!
Even though I spent a lot of time bad mouthing Mother Nature this year over her decision for the amount of snow we got, she spared Abby and Chip! As soon as we arrived at the church the rain stopped and the sun peeked out through the clouds! We were able to go outside and get beautful shots! But it wouldn’t have mattered! The Chapel at U of R was STUNNING! Such an amazing structure! We opted for pictures inside and out!
These two are both teachers… so it was not coincidence that there wedding day was 3.14.15… Otherwise known as Pi Day.. To make it even more special they cut their cake at exactly 9:26… to make it 3.14.15.9.26… SO COOL. It was something that can only happen once this century! Such an amazing – special thing for them to have!
It was such a pleasure working with you two! I was perfect and I wish you two a lifetime of happiness!!
XOXO
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
