Sometimes plans change. I like to think in this instance it changed for the better. Abby and Chip already had someone booked to shoot their Pie Day (3.14) Wedding. Unexpectadly, due to a booking issue, they found themselves with out a photographer. Abby contacted me because I had worked with one of her oldest friends. I was more than happy to ablige! I had never been to or shot a Maymont Gardens so I was super excited! It was GORGEOUS there! Even though it was the end of the season and a lot of their flowers were beginning they dormancy we found so many amazing places to capture their love! I had SO MUCH fun getting to know them and their personalities! Chip is my kind of guy along the lines of sarcasm! It’s so important for me to click with my clients and that can be harder to do with the grooms. They usually don’t love getting their pictures taken! HA! Ladies, can I get an “Amen!!”??? A little joking and some sarcasm and we were BFF’s! I love seeing that relief on the bride’s faces…. cause let’s face it… this is SUPER important to them!
I didn’t realize the importance of their wedding date until they explained it to me… but if you’re a Math person, you probably got it right away! Pie = 3.14(and a bunch of other numbers 😉 ) So for this set of teachers Pie day was the PERFECT wedding date for them! I LOVE it!
Their day is right around the corner and I can’t wait to spend the day with them! Wedding #2 for the season is going to be GREAT!!!
XOXO!!!
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
