I met Luke and Shannon last year at Shane and Jessica’s Wedding. He was a groomsmen and the whole group was so much fun to work with! I was over the moon when Luke and Shannon got engaged and Jessica sent them my way! Seriously, that is the BEST compliment to get!
Shannon had so many awesome ideas for their session. Starting first at Luke’s parents home on the water. It was gorgeous. However, Joaquin was rolling in and gave us some pretty nasty skies and wind to deal with. We had to improvise a bit but letting the wind do it’s thing isn’t always bad. It’s real…and it’s still TOTALLY romantic!
After that, we headed to Dream Fields. Baseball was and is a huge part of Luke’s life. Shannon had Luke’s old jersey’s altered to have the date the of their wedding as the numbers on the back! So neat!
I am so excited to be working with these two on their big day! The time we shared during this session was amazing and they are two of the kindest people I have met. Luke and I being from the same area had some things and people in common and I love discovering those connections! Their day will be here before you know it and it is going to be an amazing celebration!
XOXO
