I love love stories that have history! These two have been together since they were juniors in high school. How sweet is that! High School sweethearts that survived high school, then separate colleges, and then scary, jolting leap into adulthood. I have so much respect for that. That is true love… that has already been tested.
I chuckled at Destyne and told her I couldn’t wait to blog her wedding because she is the ONLY bride I have worked with that had college football playing in her bridal sweet while she getting ready. She also was getting constant updates from her girls through out the afternoon.
Destyne was so laid back. She was calm, even though everything was changed the day of the wedding because of rain. This preview is a bit different from my usual work because there is only one picture taken outside. Even though the rain was on and off, the wind was nasty. The one shot we did get outside took her veil right out of her head! LOL… She went with the flow and it all went beautifully. There is a warmth and coziness to these pictures. It was one of those days where you wanted to curl up in the couch with a good book and a fire and chill… that is the same feeling I get when looking at these pictures. They are intimate. All that mattered to these two on this day was that they were making official the love they’ve shared for the past 10 years.
Destyne’s dress was AH-MAZING. She took me to it when i arrived and showed me a gorgeous fit and flare gown with an incredible train… but my eye was drawn to a big white poof of tool in the other corner and immediately I said “what is that?” She giggled at me cause she could see how excited I was. I am gown girl! I love watching “Say Yes to the Dress” cause I just LOVE LOVE LOVE wedding gowns. Her dress had an attachable tool skirt that absolutely incredible. She wanted some images with it on and some off and I warned her that I would be a bad person to ask when to take it off cause I was just that much in love with it. It was so dreamy.
Scott’s parents own a cottage in Irvington so the majority if not all of their guests were from out of town. They all were so excited to celebrate with Scott and Destyne. When Scott teared up as Destyne walked down the isle it was the most precious thing. Everyone lost it. Even after 10 years she still takes his breathe away. It’s what every bride dreams of.
Thank you guys so much for trusting me with such a special day. I have loved working with you guys and sharing this wonderful place I call home. I can’t wait to see you guys again watch the next steps of your life unfold! XOXO oh and ROLL TIDE!!!!
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my clients. Past, present, and future. I strive for a relationship that extends further than their wedding day. The industry is constantly changing and I strive to keep up with new standards while holding true to my style.
