I am so excited to OFFICIALLY announce that Ashley Peterson Photography will be moving to Virginia at the beginning of the summer. I was born and raised in Lancaster, Va. It is such a beautiful place rich in culture and history. It is a waterfront community and i am proud that my family’s heritage stems from working the shore lines, drudging oysters and hauling crab pots. I left for college in OH when i was 17. I met and married my husband while in college and moved to his home town in South Dakota right after. 11 years and a few more moves later, i have found my way back to the Northern Neck. It is scary. It is exciting. It is definitely those things for my husband, who is such a mountain man. This fall we will have been married for 9 years and have been through MANY adventures together. I’m thankful to have him with me to walk beside me into our next great adventure!
