I am 99.9% sure this is the largest blog post I have ever posted. Everything about the wedding was Magazine worthy. You’d never guess that Amy, her sister, and mother planned this wedding with miles between them. It was stunning. A lot of people asked how I met this couple. Erika. Amy’s sister. She and I met almost two years ago at a photography event and ever since we have been sounding boards, laughing buddies, and confidants. She gets me and I get her. She asked if I would be interested in meeting and working with her sister for her wedding. I was VERY nervous. Erika had one of the best photographers I know for her wedding and it was BEYOND intimidating. I met Amy and William and realized that I was a great fit for them. I got over myself and decided to just do the best I could. Amy and William made it easy. They were so fun and I felt like I had known them for a long time. I got to PA a few days before the wedding. I got to help set up and meet both families. Amy’s mother had a seat for me at their table during the reception and I almost cried. I was welcomed in further than just someone who was hired – I was welcomed in as a friend. When it was time to leave I teared up – they were all such wonderful people and I had grown to care for them all. Flowers flown in from Holland, a teacup gown, gold Issac Mizrahi glitter shoes, Chanel, pearls, and peonies… all of these things came together to make the most gorgeous day Amy could have dreamed. The ceremony at the Loft at Sweetwater Country Club, to tie in one of William’s favorite things, and the most beautiful spring day was the perfect setting. I have no idea when Amy and William will see their preview cause they are living it up in St. Lucia but all of you and their sweet family and friends get to relive this amazing day today… and I hope you enjoy it and remember it with all the beauty, class, and sophistication it had! Thank you William and Amy for trusting me with such and important day in your life! I will forever be greatful and love you and your family! XOXO
