This Wedding! It was amazing. It was my first destination wedding of the year In Hot Springs, Va. I had never been before and on my drive out I couldn’t help but think how awesome Virginia really is. On one side you have the ocean and Bay areas. Small town people with laid back lifestyles enjoying the slower pace of life…then head 4/5 hours west and you have the mountains, wild and wonderful. Such different terrains all just a few short hours from each other. I was thankful and I was at peace. When I broke the corner and saw this AMAZING resort nestled between two mountains my mouth literally dropped open. Sure, I had seen pictures but they in NO WAY do it justice. It was like stepping back in time while at the same time stepping up in class. haha! The weather couldn’t have been better either… Big, white, puffy clouds filled the sky and the perfect 78 degrees.
Megan’s taste was extraordinary! Everything was just perfect. And the perfect topper – their sweet love. People took pictures of ME during the ceremony because I cried like a baby. Watching them together, joining their lives, I couldn’t help it… It also didn’t help that David’s sister blew him a kiss with tears rolling down her cheek as she passed him on isle… Shew! I’m tearing up now thinking about it… LOL….
I couldn’t be more thankful for being a part of this day. I loved everything about it – but mostly these two people who I am so thankful are now my friends. I wish you two nothing but the best! XOXO
