Last summer, right before I left for my European adventure, I had an engagement session. Just like any person about to go on v/k, my mind was honestly elsewhere. I am ashamed to admit that, but I’m human… lol. Truth be told, my distraction was short lived. A few poses into our session and a few questions getting to know one another I was totally enraptured by these two. Christa is this intelligent, gorgeous woman and Justin, is totally head over heals for her. I love getting to know the guys, but honestly, I love seeing how they love their brides. It totally sets the tone for me. I’ve become a pretty good predictor on how these guys will respond when they see the love their life walking toward them on their wedding day. I knew Justin would be emotional and I loved watching his reaction.
Their wedding day came on the tail end of what seemed like a never ending season of rain. Their ceremony got moved inside but all of their pictures were able to be taken outside. Despite everything being wet, it was gorgeous. The ladies and King William Florist really outdid themselves with these bouquets! Everything was just perfection! Cameron Carson (she is seriously THE BEST makeup artist) did these lovely ladies’ makeup and we both agreed we had never seen a group of more gorgeous women!
Over all, even with the rain, I don’t think this day could have been any more beautiful! It was something I was looking forward to from the moment I met them! Christa and Justin, I can’t thank you enough for asking me to be a part of this day! <3 <3
