Last year when I met Kyle and Meggie I had no idea their wedding day would be the stuff my dreams are made of. Every Wedding I photograph is beautiful. They are unique with themes varying from one end of the spectrum to another. But this one… this would be as close to my own personal preferences as it comes. It was amazing. The day started at the Inn at Grace Vineyards with stone walls and gorgeous blooming magnolia trees. The ceremony was held at Terrain. A greenhouse/cafe/event hall owned by Anthropologie. Yes, Anthropologie. Imagine a ceremony and reception space designed and decorated with the products that fill that gorgeous catalog and stores. It was really THAT beautiful! Everywhere I turned there was something breathtaking. Meggie said that she didn’t even look at another location. She walked in and knew right away this was it. I love her adventurous spirit. This isn’t the normal venue with marble floors and cream walls. We were surrounded by linen, wood, metals, and greens. She requested their bride and groom portraits to happen in the green house area and I love that she now has these wedding pictures that are totally unlike any other in my portfolio.
These two together just make me smile. Their playful relationship – love of pizza – and their leaning to break from tradition. They were so excited that after 4 or 5 solid weekends of snow, they got the first warm, sunny Saturday of spring. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
Kyle and Meggie, THANK YOU so much for allowing me to share this amazing day with you! It was truly a day to remember and I know your future is going to be amazing together!
