I’m so honored to feature Nicole and Jonathan’s gorgeous winter wedding today. I had met the family a couple of years ago when Jonathan’s older brother, Thomas was married. I had the honor of being lifelong friends with his wife and also as being their photographer. Since then, I have been privileged to photograph many of their friend’s weddings so I’ve gotten to see first hand how much fun this group of people are. Meeting Nicole’s family and seeing these two groups of people come together was so heartwarming. Nicole and Jonathan have been a couple since high school. Usually I watch two families come together during a wedding. On this day, I saw one, large family celebrate. They joined together and embraced each other much longer ago than this wedding or even over the past couple of years.
I was so looking forward to a winter wedding! As it turned out, it was more spring like than some of the actual spring weddings I’ve photographed! It was the most beautiful day! 60 degrees and the warm sun shinning down! It was glorious!
I’ve been so fortunate. This wedding was such a pleasant reminder to the joy and pleasure this job brings. I loved every moment!
