We woke up bright and early on a FREEZING Sunday morning and met in downtown Richmond. We had gone back and forth on whether or not to do this session the evening before or the morning. Though it would have been warmer the evening before, we made the decision to suffer the cold for the light. The sun rises behind the city where we were and I couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect sunrise. When I say it was cold… it was cold. 22 degrees and a bit breezy. Jackie and Nick were troopers. Jackie is from Richmond and having the city sky line in her images was important to her. Nick is an endurance coach for a collegiate Field Hockey team in PA. They came down for the weekend and we roamed around Belle Isle. Then we made our way to to Capitol Building. This was another reason we were happy with our decision for Sunday… The city was quiet. Jackie and Nick had the massive stairway to themselves and it was gorgeous!
I had the best time getting to know these two and it made me so entirely excited for their wedding day! They have such a sweet love and witnessing them giggle and warm up to me and feel totally comfortable makes me love what I do so much more!
I can’t wait!!
